When you accept a quote, your payment is held by Paystack — not by the artisan or by SERVIXUS. After the job is completed and you confirm, the funds are released. If something isn't right, you can raise a dispute before confirming, and our team will review within 48 hours.
What if the artisan needs extra work?expand_more
The artisan can submit a Change Order from their app. You'll see the additional scope and cost, and you decide whether to approve. No extra work begins until you approve and the additional amount is added to escrow.
How are artisans verified?expand_more
Every artisan must verify their NIN, provide proof of address, and submit trade references. Their profiles show verified job count, ratings from past customers, and warranty terms. Artisans with <4.0 average rating are removed from the platform.
Can I cancel a job after accepting a quote?expand_more
Yes, within 2 hours of acceptance at no cost. After that, a small cancellation fee may apply to compensate the artisan for reserved time. Cancellations are rare — most issues can be resolved by messaging the artisan first.
